The Wait Until 8th pledge empowers parents to rally together to delay giving children a smartphone until at least the end of 8th grade.

By banding together with other local families this will decrease the pressure

felt by kids and parents alike over the kids having a smartphone.

 

By signing the online pledge, you promise not to give your child a smartphone - basic phones with call and text ability are OK - until at least the end of 8th grade. Once 10 families in your child’s grade have pledged to delay the smartphone, you will be notified that the pledge is in effect!
